Daniel Olivares knew from an early age that cutting hair made him happy.  Born and raised in Mexico City, he literally started his passion at age 11, setting up shop in his parent’s home. 

Fast forward to 2002 when he received his Cosmetology license.  It didn’t take him long to channel his talents and after less than a year, he found his life mentor, Terri Pope, a 30 year veteran in the industry, who took him under her wing and trained him in all aspects of the business.  After only three years, she knew her protégé was ready for great things and sold her salon to Daniel.

Hair DO Designs (the “DO” representing Daniel’s initials) has prospered in the Bellaire area and Daniel continues to grow his business.  Daniel’s talent is creating haircuts that match your personal style and providing natural looking color and highlights. 

With his personal style, beliefs and visions, he has created a space that feels like a private salon, is warm, welcoming, and reflects his unique personality.
